Former Lexington firefighter Eric J. Bradley pleaded guilty Wednesday to downloading child pornography while on duty at the Cleveland Road fire station.
Bradley, 38, of Jessamine County, pleaded guilty in U.S. District court in Lexington to one count of receipt of child pornography, and he admitted that between December 2007 and December 2008, he downloaded child pornography.
Bradley was charged after an undercover investigation. An examination of his laptop computer revealed approximately 200 photographs and 50 videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. The videos featured children younger than 12 engaged in sexually explicit conduct with adults, according to the office of U.S. Attorney Kerry Harvey.
Bradley, who is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 18, faces five to 20 years in prison.
