An original copy of the U.S. Constitution will be on display through Saturday at the Orlando Brown House in Frankfort.
Sept. 17 marks the 223rd anniversary of the signing of the constitution. Sen. John Brown, Kentucky's first senator, was a delegate to the Continental Congress and represented the Kentucky territory of Virginia.
The Orlando Brown House, home of John Brown's son, is located at 202 Wilkinson Street in Frankfort. It is part of the Liberty Hall Historic Site, which includes John Brown's 1796 home. The homes are open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.
