A Somerset man was charged with three counts of indecent exposure Friday, accused of flashing female students at Eastern Kentucky University.

William J. Bullock, 24, was taken the Madison County jail on a $5,000 cash bond. There have been three reports of flashing incidents this week on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday.

Bullock was arrested after an off-duty EKU police officer spotted a car near campus that matched victims' descriptions, Detective Brandon Collins said. When the officer pulled up beside the man, the officer noticed that his clothing matched a description from an incident Friday afternoon.

The officer followed Bullock to the parking lot of Burnham Hall, near the scene of Tuesday's incident. Several officers arrived and took Bullock to headquarters for questioning, where they later arrested him, Collins said.

"We didn't catch him in the act," Collins said. "He gave statements to the detectives that led us to get an arrest warrant."

Bullock is not a student at the college, EKU spokesman Marc Whitt said. Collins said he did not give officers a reason for the acts.
