Kentucky State Police have identified the three people killed in a wreck on Interstate 64 in Franklin County Monday as family members from New Jersey.
Police said in a statement Tuesday that Nicholas Bryer, 70, Dana Weber, 18, and Avory Weber, 4 months, all of Monmouth Junction, N.J., died in the crash. All died at the scene. Dana Weber was Bryer's daughter and the infant's mother, according to police.
Police said Bryer was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer that crashed about 1:05 p.m. near the 50-mile marker on I-64 West.
Police said the Trailblazer left the road and Bryer overcorrected. The sport-utility vehicle crossed both lanes and hit several trees, state police said.
