Asbury Seminary Hosts Breakfast for Jessamine Chamber

Asbury Theological Seminary hosted a breakfast for the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce on Nov. 20. The speaker was new Seminary President Dr. Timothy Tennent who took his post in February.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FOOD PROJECT Jessamine County Salvation Army in partnership with the Jessamine Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers for the Helping Hands program that aims to provide food for 250 needy families during the holidays. Volunteer times are 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10, and 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11. Call Myrna at (859) 887-4351.

Help needy families in Jessamine County by making a silent auction bid on a holiday wreath during the 9th Annual Circle of Giving Wreath Display at the Jessamine County Courthouse through Friday, Dec. 4.
