TWENTY THOUSAND TIRES COLLECTED
Tire Amnesty Weekend, sponsored by Jessamine County Fiscal Court and the Kentucky Division of Waste Management, collected approximately 20,000 waste tires from Jessamine County residents who took advantage of the free tire disposal event that took place at the Jessamine County Road Department in July. The tires will be shredded, recycled and used to make mulch, build outdoor play surfaces, and produce asphalt. Contact Mike Cassidy at (859) 881-4465 or firstname.lastname@example.org .
