Camp Nelson To Get Enhanced Signage
The Kentucky Heritage Council and the Lincoln Bicentennial Commission have selected Camp Nelson National Cemetery and Civil War Heritage Park to receive enhanced signage along US 27. The program calls for installing Lincoln log cabin sign caps to seven existing brown directional signs, in an effort to promote the sites and provide increased visitation. Camp Nelson was previously named a Lincoln Bicentennial site. Installation of the new sign caps will begin this month.
Kentucky Equine Humane Center Adoptions
Buddy is a 3-year-old gelding available for adoption at the Kentucky Equine Humane Center in Jessamine County. The center works as a clearinghouse to seek adoptive homes for Kentucky’s unwanted horses.
