A Boyle County man was killed in a crash in neighboring Casey County early Thursday, state police said in a news release.
Joshua R. Lawhorn, 20, of Parksville was driving south on U.S. 127 when his car crossed into the northbound lane and was hit in the passenger side by a pickup truck driven by Gregory Greer, 32, of Adair County, state police said.
Lawhorn, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected from his car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Greer, who was wearing a seat belt, did not require medical treatment, state police said.

State police are investigating the cause of the wreck, which happened at 8:30 CST about five miles north of Liberty.
