The Virginia man whose body was found last week after his tractor-trailer crashed into a creek died from drowning after he was thrown from the vehicle, Bath County Coroner Robert Powell said on Tuesday.
Michael Dean Hall, 56, of Staunton, Va., was traveling on Interstate 64 on Feb. 2 in Bath County en route to Detroit when the truck slid off the highway and into Slate Creek, Powell said.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory in Staunton, Va., is handling arrangements.
