A Menifee County man died Thursday evening after losing control of his Chevrolet pickup truck, which collided with another vehicle head-on, Kentucky State Police said.
Christopher D. Hunt, 25, of Frenchburg, was driving east on Ky. 36 in Menifee County about 5:30 p.m. when the truck dropped off the side of the road on a curve.
The truck went into the westbound lane and collided with a 2003 Lexus sedan driven by Randy Martin, 45, also of Frenchburg, state police said.
Hunt, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead about 7 p.m.
Martin and a juvenile passenger in his vehicle were taken to Saint Joseph Hospital in Mount Sterling. The passengers in the Lexus were properly restrained, state police said.
