▪ Along with live music, food, and a balloon race, the Great American Brass Band Festival in Danville will include an art festival. Vendors will show and sell their work from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday on College Street in front of the Norton Center for the Arts at Centre College.
Artists will include Dewdrop Pottery of Corbin, wildlife and nature photographer Clay Thurston, and jewelry artist Brad Bickel. For more about the festival, check out Lexgo.com and Friday’s Weekender.
▪ Paul Mitchell Schools, including the Lexington school at 3644 Boston Road, will host Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day events on Tuesday.

▪ More than 60 local and regional artists will exhibit at the 17th annual Art in the Garden in Augusta. Artists will show and sell their work along the banks of the Ohio River 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The day will include live music, and food. Admission is free. Augustaartguild.com.
