D.G. Yuengling & Son of Pottsville, Penn., America’s oldest brewery, will finally be serving its products in Kentucky beginning March 5.
Yuengling has been in business for 189 years, according to a Friday press release. On March 5, Kentucky restaurants and bars can begin serving Yuengling. Starting March 12, Yuengling packaged beer products will be available at beer distributors, grocery and convenience stores.
The brand’s most popular offerings — Lager, Light Lager and Black & Tan — will be available.
“Entering Kentucky was the natural next step in our expansion,” said Jen Yuengling, a sixth generation brewer with the company. “Kentucky’s beverage scene is rooted in history, and we could not be more proud to bring the tradition of Yuengling family products and America’s oldest brewery to Kentucky.”
