Golden Retriever Has Full-Blown Tantrum When Mom Says "Time to Get Out of the Pool"
Someone isn't ready to go home - and he's not going to be quiet about it. One woman really hurt her dog's feeling by telling him that it was time to get out of the pool. The Golden Retriever had been swimming for hours, and he probably would've kept at it if his mom hadn't gotten in his way.
Bentley is such a character. He has tons of personality and it shows every single day. Just look at the major ‘tude the Golden Retriever gave his mama when she cut his pool time short.

What a little drama king! Bentley had been having so much fun swimming that day, and then his human had to go and ruin it. He was probably playing mermaids! Or maybe he was swimming doggie paddle laps. Either way, the Golden was clearly not ready to call it quits, so he made a big stink about having to leave early.

The footage shows the dog in such a mood in the car. He was completely turned away from his mama. The Golden Retriever wanted her to know that he wasn't pleased one bit.
"My Golden is mad at me cause we left the pool (he was swimming for two hours)," the video's onscreen caption reads.
"He's so dramatic," his mama teased.
That's putting it lightly. He was really milking it. He wanted her to know that he was miffed! The dog's attitude had people cracking up in the comments section.
"He wasn't done playing mermaids," teased one person.
"The way he's fully turned around," someone else quipped.
"Dog is like:'Why wasn't I born a fish?'" joked another commenter.
"In his defense, two hours is just a warm up," wrote one person.
Pool Safety for Dogs
If your dog loves swimming, he isn't alone! Many dogs do, but they do need some guidance when it comes to the pool.
For instance, you might want to get your dog a life jacket if they aren't the strongest swimmer. You might need to supervise them while in the water if this is the case, too. Teaching your pup to swim is the best way to ensure they'll be safe in the water. But if they aren't feeling the pool, don't push it. A happy dog is a safe dog. That's for sure!
