Workers are cleaning, painting and preparing Lexington pools to open later this month.
The city's four aquatic centers — Castlewood, Southland, Tates Creek and Woodland — will open Saturday, May 26. The three other pools — Douglass, Picadome and Shillito — will open a week later, on June 2. Pools at Berry Hill and Constitution parks have been closed.
The city released information about their aquatic center and pool schedules and pricing on Monday. Of note is that the parks and recreation division will offer a $5 to $10 discount for pool passes purchased online through May 18. The passes are good at each of Lexington's seven facilities.
Season passes typically cost $50 for an individual and $160 for a family pass good for up to six members of a household. Additional family passes are $20 per household member.
