MAC Cosmetics introduces the "Baking Beauty" collection, inspired by the shimmering icings and creamy textures of pastries.

Pearlmatte face powder, packaged in the shape of a cupcake, includes the champagne-hued "In for a Treat" and a blush-colored "Pink Buttercream."

Lipstick shades include "Devil's Food" and "Raspberry Swirl," and glittering nail lacquers are available in shades of "Bleu Velvet" and "Pistachio Crème."

Look for the collection online at Maccosmetics.com starting April 11 and in stores April 18 to May 26. The nearest MAC counter is at Macy's in Fayette Mall, 3301 Nicholasville Road.

You-neeks Beaded Creations will host a spring jewelry show April 4 to 6 at The Shops at Lexington Center, 410 West Vine Street, in the Berea Room next to the Food Court. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 5 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 6.
