The Lexington boutique Adelé launched an e-commerce site this week at Adelelexington.com, offering a selection of its best-selling jewelry, gift and baby items. To celebrate, the store will host a holiday shopping kick-off sale Friday and Saturday.

Everything in the store, at 445 South Ashland Avenue, will be 20 percent off. Merchandise includes a mix of unique jewelry, gift items and holiday decor.

Finderskeepers Market at 109 Walton Avenue will host its first open house of the holiday season with a sneak peek 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and the official celebration 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Shop for gifts and decorations for the holidays as well as new vintage items. Desserts by Bourbon Barrel Confections and Finderskeepers milk punch will be served.

Bella Rose and Friends of the Kentucky Theatre will present a fashion show and screening of the movie Amélie on Thursday at the Kentucky Theatre, 214 East Main Street. Fashions from Bella Rose will be shown at 6 p.m., and the movie will begin at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served, and there will be a raffle to win a $330 Bella Rose gift certificate. Tickets, available at the theater and at the store, are $25, and proceeds will go to renovate the theater.

Pomegranate, at 951 Floyd Drive, will host a holiday open house 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Nov. 15.

■ The Versailles Merchants Association's annual Christmas open house is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Both days will feature refreshments, specials and a cappella Christmas music. On Saturday, children's pictures with Santa will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Woodford Inn. On Sunday, pictures with Santa will be 1 to 4 p.m., and there will be free carriage rides. With a $5 purchase at each participating shop, you will be eligible to win a gift basket.

Gallery on Main in Richmond hosts its annual holiday trunk show 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Items include original works from local artists and merchandise from the Madison County Garden Club.
