Free food and other surprises? What is better than that?
Many area restaurants offer coupons and specials, and give free food to customers on their birthdays. Last month was my birthday. What a surprise it was to receive greetings from restaurants and a variety of deals for free or discounted food.

Check out Web sites for the national chain restaurants. Many offer the birthday freebies. And, I would love to hear from you on BluegrassMoms.com about some of the local restaurant specials that you know of. For example, Jimmy D's East Coast Café at 1395 West Main Street offers a buy-six-get-one-sandwich-free card.
