Fresh blueberries and pancakes are a perfect match, and Trudie and Dana Reed combine them for their annual Blueberry Jubilee & Pancake Day.
They open their farm, Reed Valley Orchard, 239 Lail Lane in Bourbon County, for a day of dancing, gospel singing, horse-drawn wagon rides, and food. The event will be from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 25. Call (859) 987-6480 or go to Reedvalleyorchard.com.

Simply cut free-hand shapes, such as bows and curlicues, or punch designs on the edible paper and then apply to butter-cream icing or fondant. The solid-colored, patterned or alphabet sheets cost $4 at craft stores or at Wilton.com.
