The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department's clinic at Newtown Circle is closing for a week while it moves to a new home.
The clinic will be closed Dec. 10 to 16 for the move to the first floor of 650 Newtown Pike, where the health department offers most of its other services. The clinic will reopen Dec. 17.
The clinic is not a primary medical clinic, but it provides services including testing and counseling for sexually transmitted diseases, tuberculosis skin tests, rabies post-exposure testing, family planning and immunizations.
HealthFirst Bluegrass had operated a primary medical clinic at 650 Newtown Pike but moved the clinic to a new location in mid-November.
