"Hidden Treasures of Frankfort" is the theme of the third annual Living in History Home and Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The event, sponsored by Liberty Hall Historic Site and The Garden Club of Frankfort, will feature rarely seen private homes and gardens, plus historic sites.
Homes on the tour include those of: Crit and Lynn Luallen, 140 Old Versailles Road, Loop 2; George Russell, 81 River Bluff; Mike Fields, 518 Murray Street; Fonda and Rendell Butler, 500 Breckinridge Avenue; and Karen and Will May, 60 Foxley Lane. Also on the tour: The Meeting House Bed and Breakfast, 519 Ann Street; The Vest-Lindsey House, 401 Wapping Street; The Morehead House (1818) and Garden, 326 West Main Street; and the Old Governor's Mansion, first floor and garden, 420 High Street.
Also Saturday, the May Market on the grounds of Liberty Hall and the Orlando Brown House will feature vendors with garden-related items.
