• United Way 2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember phone number that connects people with the help they need. It’s accessible 24/7, in more than 150 languages. It has access to more than 500 providers to help answer questions about health and human services such as food, shelter, medical care, substance abuse treatment – the list is endless. During tax time if you earn less than $42,000 a year you can receive free help with filing your taxes.



• Lex Call 3-1-1 is your one call for Lexington city hall. From 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. call to report illegal signs, unsafe housing, graffiti, potholes, large garbage pickup, city hall information or connect quickly with the mayor’s office.

Activities

• Fayette County residents ages 18 and older can enroll in the 50 Million Pound Weight Loss Challenge. This free, nationwide challenge is offered by the Lexington Health Department and is designed to help adults achieve a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle.
