American Eagle starts non-stop service to Chicago

American Eagle, the regional carrier of American Airlines, launched on Tuesday non-stop jet service between Lexington and Chicago O'Hare International Airport.

Two daily flights will travel to O'Hare, with departures from Blue Grass Airport at 6:50 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The service will be on 44- and 50-seat Embraer jets.

Non-stop jet service to Chicago is also offered by United Express.

Blue Grass Airport offers non-stop service to 13 cities.
