Umansky and physician's assistant Michelle Derbin as the newest member of Lexington Clinic's hand surgery team —Orthopedics Sports Medicine Center. He provides services in orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgery.
Kentucky Medical Association: The following have been elected as officers of the KMA: Dr. Theodore Miller, an Edgewood otolaryngologist, president; Dr. Nancy Swikert, Union, president elect; and Dr. R. Brent Wright, Glasgow, vice president. Dr. G. Randolph Schrodt, Louisville, has been named chair of the board of trustees.

National Organic Program's Hydroponic and Aquaponic Task Force: Angela Caporelli, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture's aquaculture marketing specialist, has been appointed to the 16-member task force.
Lexington Center Corp.: Urban County Council members Kevin Stinnett and Bill Farmer have been appointed by Mayor Jim Gray to the board of directors for four-year terms. Gray reappointed board members Craig Turner and Brent Rice to four-year terms. Rice currently serves as chairman of the board.
