Bank of the Bluegrass & Trust Co.: Laura Haley has been promoted to financial center manager, overseeing the bank's East High Street office. Kim Noble, vice president, relationship manager and loan officer, now specializes in mortgage lending.

Health Care

Lexington Clinic: Dr. Brandon Devers, an orthopedic hand surgeon, has joined Dr. Stephen C. Umansky and physician's assistant Michelle Derbin as the newest member of Lexington Clinic's hand surgery team —Orthopedics Sports Medicine Center. He provides services in orthopedic hand and upper extremity surgery.

Organizations

Kentucky Medical Association: The following have been elected as officers of the KMA: Dr. Theodore Miller, an Edgewood otolaryngologist, president; Dr. Nancy Swikert, Union, president elect; and Dr. R. Brent Wright, Glasgow, vice president. Dr. G. Randolph Schrodt, Louisville, has been named chair of the board of trustees.

CMI Consulting: Amanda Copas has been named a recruiter for the human resources consulting, recruiting and assessment solutions partner. Brooke Otis has been named client development manager.

National Organic Program's Hydroponic and Aquaponic Task Force: Angela Caporelli, the Kentucky Department of Agriculture's aquaculture marketing specialist, has been appointed to the 16-member task force.

Lexington Center Corp.: Urban County Council members Kevin Stinnett and Bill Farmer have been appointed by Mayor Jim Gray to the board of directors for four-year terms. Gray reappointed board members Craig Turner and Brent Rice to four-year terms. Rice currently serves as chairman of the board.
