Fasig-Tipton's select yearling sale at Saratoga ended Tuesday with a two-day gross of $36.08 million for 122 horses.

The sale-topper came Tuesday, a $2 million Storm Cat colt purchased by M.V. Magnier of Coolmore Stud.
The colt, the only seven-figure horse of the evening, was consigned by Ben Walden's Gracefield Farm in Lexington.
The nightly gross, average and median were all down compared to the second night of 2007.
The sale's total gross was down 12 percent from the 2007 total, but the two-day average price of $295,738 was up 2 percent. The two-day median price of $227,500 was the same.
The buy-back rate of horses not reaching their reserve prices was up slightly at 25.6 percent.
