A task force on the future of horse racing in Kentucky will finalize its recommendations to Gov. Steve Beshear at a meeting Monday in Frankfort.
The task force is looking at staffing and funding levels for racing's regulatory agency, betting and racetrack security, the horse industry's overall financial picture, and the possibility of establishing an equine drug-testing and research lab in Kentucky.
