Clear Channel mum on Lexington cuts

Clear Channel, which announced Tuesday that it will cut 1,850 jobs, or 9 percent of its workforce, won't say how many Lexington employees are being let go.

Spokeswoman Lisa Dollinger said the company won't break down the numbers by geography or business function.

Clear Channel owns seven radio stations in Lexington, including AM station WLAP (630) and country music station WBUL-FM (98.1) "The Bull."
