Affiliated Computer Services has been named employer of the year by Goodwill Industries of Kentucky for the company's efforts to recruit, hire and train people with disabilities. ACS employs approximately 4,000 people in Kentucky, making it one of the largest private employers in the state.

Tony Barrett, landscape architect with Barrett Partners, has been certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council. Barrett has more than 25 years of experience in land use planning, master planning, zoning, site planning and design and low-impact and sustainable development planning.

Laura Hayden of Rector-Hayden Realtors has been named Realtor Community Housing Foundation Volunteer of the Year. Hayden volunteers with the Housing Foundation making exterior repairs on homes for low-income elderly homeowners during the spring Affair Repair program. Hayden also serves as co-chair of the Housing Foundation's Public Relations Committee and is active in fund-raising projects for the foundation.

The Horseplayers Association of North America has ranked Keeneland first among 65 of the continent's top racetracks in its inaugural Track Rating System. The HANA Track Rating System was created to assist members in making informed decisions about the value of their wagering dollar at different tracks. The system was developed from an algorithm that incorporates takeout rates for each specific type of wager offered by each track, average field size, and low base cost wager availability.

Eric Kenoyer, vice president of human resources for AMR Management Services, has earned certification as a senior professional in human resources.

Kentucky Imaging Center in Lexington has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in Positron Emission Tomography as the result of a recent survey by the American College of Radiology. The ACR awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice. Kentucky Imaging Center, located at 3475 Richmond Road, received ACR accreditation in Magnetic Resonance Imaging in July 2008.
