A precautionary boil-water advisory that was issued for approximately 250 Kentucky American Water customers in Scott County Friday has been lifted, effective 5 p.m. Sunday. The precautionary advisory had been issued due to a water main break on Rogers Gap Road in northern Scott County.
Samples of water taken from the distribution system have been tested and met all state and federal standards. Customers with any questions regarding the boil water advisory should call Kentucky American Water's Customer Service Center at 1-800-678-6301.
