UK students win national business contest

Two students from the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics have won a national business contest.

Matthew Choyce, a senior management major, and Ryan Hayes, a senior majoring in decision science and information systems, won the recent Undergraduate Supply Chain Challenge.

The contest had teams from 13 universities managing a simulated complex global supply chain, which is generally how businesses get their products from manufacturing to consumers. Teams were measured on total revenue, order fulfillment and more.

The contest, hosted by Michigan State University, included such prestigious schools as Penn State, Ohio State and Maryland.
