Meetings

The first Public Policy Luncheon of 2009 will be noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort and Spa's main ballroom. An expert panel will address the EPA consent decree and your bottom line. Discussion will focus on how the current stormwater ordinance will impact businesses, non-profits, churches and education groups across Fayette County. Workshops

The Bluegrass Alliance for Women and the Woodford County Extension Service will offer Dollar Sense for Women from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday and April 28 at the Agriculture Resource Building, 184 Beasley Road, Versailles. Topics: Making a spending plan, managing expenses, setting financial priorities and managing credit wisely. The workshop on Thursday is geared toward younger women and women who might choose to follow up the workshop by using the FDIC computer program called Money Smart for Young Adults. Iwin Workplace Development Series presents a one-day workshop, Leveraging Workplace Flexibility as a Strategic Management Tool on April 28 at the University of Kentucky Hilary J. Boone Center. Iwin will also present a webinar, Using Emotional Intelligence to Enhance Leadership in Challenging Economic Times, at noon April 29.
