A new organization dedicated to entrepreneurs in Kentucky was launched Wednesday. The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Kentucky is expected to help entrepreneurs and early-stage companies give back to their communities.
It's an affiliate of the Entrepreneurs Foundation, a national organization committed to corporate citizenship and philanthropic efforts in the entrepreneurial community.
Two inaugural member companies of the EFKY were named Wednesday: Biological Prospects LLC and Transposagen Biopharmaceuticals.
The group was formed as a partnership of the Blue Grass Community Foundation, the Community Foundation of Louisville, the Foundation for the Tri-State Community and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
