Lexington-based printer maker Lexmark International announced Thursday that it has signed a multi-year agreement to manage printing for BASF Inc., a leading chemical company with 97,000 employees.
Under the agreement, Lexmark will control the company's printer infrastructure and help it reduce costs in a variety of ways.
Among some of the ways that Lexmark accomplishes that in other companies is to digitize paper-based processes and use dual-sided printers.
