Jim LeMaster, the president and chief executive officer of the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers, will leave his post on Sept. 30 to practice law in the Lexington office of Stoll, Keenon, Ogden PLLC.
He has been with KAM, a state trade association focused on the manufacturing sector, since 2007.
The current KAM chairman, Pete Gritton, has been appointed interim president and CEO beginning Oct. 1, and Warren Markwell of Emerson Power Transmission in Maysville and current board vice-chair, has been named to fill Gritton's term as chairman.
