Scentsy Inc., the candle maker that opened a distribution center in Lexington two months ago, is adding a second shift to its operations.
The Meridian, Idaho-based company, which makes wickless, scented candles and other fragrance products, says it will add about 50 more jobs to meet demand for its products.
Originally, the company projected it would create about 70 new full-time jobs by the end of 2009, but with the addition of a second shift, that estimate has grown to 120. Operations and supervisory positions are available, the company says. It expects to fill the majority of the jobs by Nov. 1.
