Midway College: Christopher Boss has joined the college's English department as a full-time faculty member. He has been teaching since 1997. Claytina Gibson has joined the college's nursing faculty. She previously was a staff nurse in the coronary care unit at University of Kentucky hospital for 10 years.


Chase: Donald Hellmann has been promoted to president of Chase in Lexington, succeeding Linda Rumpke, who has been appointed Commissioner of Finance and Administration for Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. Hellmann will continue to manage Chase's commercial and equine banking teams in the Lexington area.

Health care

Central Kentucky Radiology: Physician assistants Micah Sanning, Amy Justice, and Christopher Oser have joined the group.

Drs. Wilkes & Warner: Dr. Karry Wilkes has joined the Tates Creek Road pediatric practice.


Kentucky Authority for Educational Television and Kentucky Educational Television Foundation Board: Commissioner of Education Terry Holliday and Michael Miller, director of the Kentucky Department of Education's Division of Curriculum Development, have been named members of both organizations.

Alzheimer's Association of Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana: Orvis Kean has been named a member of the association's regional advisory council, Lexington region.

Lexington Humane Society: Heather L. Sinclair, of Dulworth Breeding & Karns, has joined the LHS board.


Christian Care Communities: Mary Lynn Spalding has joined Kentucky's largest faith-based, non-profit provider of affordable housing and long-term care for older adults as director of home and community-based services. Most recently, Spalding served as vice president of Trilogy's community-based services division.

Kentuckiana Comfort Center: Matt Alliston has been named a Lexington account manager in charge of servicing existing preventive maintenance accounts and new business development for the heating and air conditioning company. Chuck Coplon has been named project sales manager for KCC's Lexington construction/design-build division.
