The top floor of Triangle Center, the downtown development formerly known as Festival Market, is for sale. Longtime owner Meridian Communications has vacated the space after its merger with Jordan-Chiles Advertising to create Meridian-Chiles.
The floor, which used to be the food court in the Festival Market days, includes 30,000 square feet and is entitled to exterior signage on the building, said the seller's agent, Ken Silvestri of Silvestri-Craig Realtors.
Meridian spent more than $1.2 million converting the food court into offices, Silvestri said. The asking price for the floor is $3.585 million. There are three tenants occupying parts of the floor now, but about 16,000 square feet can be occupied immediately, he said.
And although it's only been on the market for several days, Silvestri said "we've got a couple of really, really serious owner-users that are interested in the space, and we just had a call from an investor from out of town. That space is getting some great attention."
