Lexington cable provider Insight Communications has made some minor changes to its cable lineup.
For a small number of customers who do not have cable boxes or digital tuners on their televisions, the Marketplace 6 (Channel 6) and C-SPAN 2 (Channel 58) channels will no longer be available.
The two moved from Insight's analog tier to its digital tier earlier this week, said spokesman Jason Keller.
Keller said there will be no change for the 70 percent of customers in Central Kentucky who have Insight boxes.

"This is part of a number of necessary changes to our network to provide more high-definition programming and even faster Internet service," he said, noting that analog channels "take up a tremendous amount more bandwidth than do digital and high-definition channels."
To help people with the transition, Insight is giving affected customers the necessary equipment for free for one year. It has not established what the pricing would be after that time, Keller said.
