Education

Centre College: Davis L. Marksbury of Lexington has been inducted onto the college's board of trustees. Marksbury is an entrepreneur and founder of three companies, including Exstream, a software company now owned by Hewlett Packard. He is currently managing partner and chairman of Nextstream Capital, a private equity investment firm.

Finance

Fifth Third Bank: Andrea George, human resources, and Cara Endicott, finance, have been promoted to assistant vice presidents. Josh Slattery, commercial, has been named a vice president of the bank. Jim Baldridge has joined the company as vice president, wealth management. Mathew Hulberg has been appointed to the retail position responsible for membership banking.

Forcht Bank: Bill Potter has been named Lexington market president.

Law

Stoll Keenon Ogden: Monica Braun and Nathaniel Kissel have joined the SKO's Lexington office and will practice in the firm's bankruptcy, financial restructuring and workouts practice group. Christopher Way has joined the firm's business entities and transactions and health care practice groups in SKO's Lexington office.

Organizations

American College of Trial Lawyers: Stites & Harbison attorney John M. Famularo has been elected a regent of the ACTL board. He will represent Region IX, which includes Kentucky, for a four-year term.

Kentucky Association of Mortgage Professionals: Kaleb Kash, senior lending officer at Kash Mortgage, has been named a board member of the association.

Other

Whayne Supply: Danny Napier has been named rental manager for the Lexington and Dry Ridge Cat Rental stores.

Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation: Christopher L. French has been named an area program director. He spent the last 11 years with Kentucky Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Co.

E-Z Pack Manufacturing: Greg Podell has been named president and chief executive officer of the Cynthiana-based manufacturer of refuse truck bodies and parts.
