Lexmark strikes deal with European firm

Lexington-based printer maker Lexmark International has signed a five-year deal to manage printing for European-based electrical products distribution company Rexel Group.

Lexmark said the deal will help save Rexel between 20 percent to 60 percent in printing costs depending on the country. Rexel operates in 34 countries worldwide. Lexmark said the savings will partly come from a 20 percent reduction in the number of printers.
