Lower 48, a nightspot inside Victorian Square, will close this weekend.
Nate FX Eldridge, one of the owners, said the bar is closing because he's focused on a new business, Talent Attach, which offers social media and marketing services.
"It's taken away all of my time," he said. "I'm still going to DJ ... but as far as the bar business, we're just moving on to the next thing."
Lower 48, which opened in mid-2008, presented DJs and is wrapping up its run this weekend with an all-DJ night on Friday and live music on Saturday, Eldridge said.

Eldridge said the bar is for sale, as there's still a few months left on its lease.
He characterized its financial performance as "not too bad."
"Obviously, in the economy we're in, we could always do better," he said.
Its closure comes as Victorian Square has seen more of its storefronts filled over the past few months.
The Loft, a dance club, and Hef's Sports Lounge, which are operated by the owners of The Chase Tap Room, opened recently, noted Victorian Square General Manager Sandra Duvall.
Spoiled Rotten Pet Boutique also opened in October, Duvall said, taking the second-floor location of Good Scents Candles & Bath, which expanded to a first-floor space.
Duvall said the shopping center is also working with some other potential tenants to fill remaining vacancies.
