Energy boot camp deadline nears

Applications are due by May 28 for admission into the Kentucky Highlands Energy Business Boot Camp. The training and mentoring program helps energy-related entrepreneurs learn to create viable businesses and profitable business models.

The boot camp provides stipends of as much as $6,000 to offset costs associated with class participation. The boot camp includes four training sessions between June and September at the offices of Kentucky Highlands Investment Corp. in London. Class topics include market research, marketing plans, business models and capitalization strategies. To apply for the program, go to www.khic.org.
