A federally funded program is providing jobs for nearly 200 disadvantaged adults with children and some youth in Lexington this summer. The program, Work Now Kentucky, subsidizes the wages and benefits of eligible people who are hired through the program. It is part of a statewide program funded by the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program created through the stimulus program. People who are interested in working through the program or in hiring workers can find more information at the state's one-stop career centers or at http://worknow.ky.gov.
