The Kentucky World Trade Center announced Monday that Suresh Kumar, assistant secretary of the U.S. Commerce Department and director general of the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, will be the keynote speaker at its annual World Trade Day conference.
Kumar, who also has led Johnson & Johnson's worldwide consumer division, will discuss how Kentucky businesses can enhance international trade.
The World Trade Day conference will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 1 at the Marriott Griffin Gate on Newtown Pike. Admission is $45 for KWTC members and $65 for non-members. For more information, go to www.kwtc.org.
