Ex-Lexingtonian to lead N.H. newspaper

A former Lexingtonian has been named publisher of a New Hampshire newspaper.

John Winn Miller, 57, will become the next publisher of the Concord Monitor, a Pulitzer Prize-winning daily paper with a circulation of about 20,000 in the state's capital.

Miller began his newspaper career as a reporter on the foreign desk of The Associated Press. He later worked at the Herald-Leader as a reporter and city editor and then was executive editor at the Centre Daily Times in State College, Pa., and the Tallahassee Democrat in Florida. Most recently, he was publisher of The Olympian in Olympia, Wash.
