Keeneland has been named an "official industry champion" of the Breeders' Cup, according to an announcement Thursday.
As part of a multiyear agreement with the Thoroughbred championships, horses that are graduates of the Keeneland auctions will feature the auction house logo beside their names on TV, including during the post parades.
The price tag for the deal was not disclosed.
"This partnership is a natural extension of the long-standing relationship between Keeneland and the Breeders' Cup," track president Nick Nicholson said in the news release. "With 48 of our graduates having won Breeders' Cup races through the years, our sales alumni have had an exceptional showing at these championships."
The annual Keeneland November Breeding Stock sale begins Nov. 8, the Monday after the Breeders' Cup at Churchill Downs, on Nov. 5 and 6.
