Sustainable agriculture expert Jerry R. DeWitt will speak at 4 p.m. Monday at the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture's faculty convocation, "The Farms and Food System of the Future: Exploring Opportunities in Research, Education and Extension."
The speech, which is free and open to the public, will focus on "Enhancing the Sustainability of the Farm and Food Systems."
DeWitt is the former director of Iowa Sate University's Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, one of the leading research and education centers for sustainable agriculture practices.
