Lexmark International announced Thursday that its board of directors has elected chief executive Paul Rooke to succeed former CEO Paul Curlander as chairman of the board. Curlander announced his immediate retirement as CEO in October, but he has stayed on as executive chairman. The transition will occur on April 30, according to the Lexington-based printer-maker.
Also, Teresa Beck, a board member since 2000, will retire from the group at the annual meeting of stockholders on April 28.
The board announced that it has elected Sandra L. Helton, a former executive at Telephone and Data Systems Inc. and Corning, to a director position.
