Toyota's Erlanger-based research and development and manufacturing division has announced changes in its senior management.
Shigeki Terashi, 57, has been named president and chief operating officer of Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America. Terashi will be serve as president of TEMA and the Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. Previously, he was executive vice president of TEMA and president of TTC.
Terashi replaces Tetsuo Agata, 58, who will return to Japan for a new assignment, Toyota said in a press release.
Kazuhiro Miyauchi, 54, has been named TEMA's executive vice president of purchasing, production control and logistics control. Previously, he served as managing officer for Toyota Motor Corp.'s purchasing project management and unit parts division.
