Community Ventures Corp. has been selected to receive $67,500 in federal funding to support entrepreneurs. The grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration was one of 100 made through the Program for Investment in Micro-entrepreneurs Act to non-profits in 44 states and Washington D.C.
The funding will be used to provide business-based training and technical assistance to low-income entrepreneurs, according to an SBA news release. It also can be used to better equip the non-profit to provide training.
