The Alzheimer's Association of Greater Kentucky and Southern Indiana and Christian Care Communities have formed a new partnership that brings Best Friends Day Center, 460 E. Main Street, under the Christian Care umbrella. Christian Care assumed daily operational responsibility for the Best Friends Day Center, and all of Best Friends' employees became employees of Christian Care.

Wal-Mart and Central Baptist Hospital has opened The Clinic at Wal-Mart, operated by Central Baptist Hospital, inside the Wal-Mart at 300 Letton Drive in Paris.

The clinic provides access to basic health care for anyone 24 months or older, seven days a week, with no appointment necessary.

The walk-in clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Messer Construction Co. has added a Health Care Division that will be led by health-care executive Nick Apanius. Apanius has specialized in health-care planning, design and construction, with a focus on research and development of innovative solutions that improve long-term building performance for health care owners.

Trust Lounge, a "luxury nightlife destination," has opened.

It is located downtown at 123 West Main Street.

The classically chic-styled lounge, which features two bars, will offer live jazz 7 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. After 10 on Fridays and Saturdays, it will become a late-night dance club, with nationally recognized DJs.
